Mosaic Wall Mirror New Ceramic And Travertine Bath Tile, Unsanded Grout Problem?

New ceramic and travertine bath tile, unsanded grout problem? - mosaic wall mirror

The sludge was used without sand, a wall mirror and shower walls. On the mosaic to the ice seems to have enough mortar in the joints between the squares of travertine tile 1, the color is not in the joints that continue at regular intervals.

The same with the lines of grout between the tiles on the wall, a large shower but they also have very small cracks in them.

We have to return a set of tiles with slurry of sand and never a problem, and then add more of the same joints, but we can do it with mortar without sand? Not polished, that the Bank of tile proposed, because a large part of the travertine tile. Tile is the evening of Sun closed

This should add no longer a problem if the same batch of mortar.

If you have a new bag of grout, not to the low risk, run with a perfect color match. Otherwise, should work very well.

Do not buy or slurry mixing the dry and mix yourself? Sounds like you had too much water in the mixture and drying the slurry is reduced. The difference in the use of sand or mortar without sand depends on the size of the separation of the tile, not the hardware.
